Cherry's New AN9 Rotary Position Sensor

Non-contact rotary sensor is good for 360 degrees

Cherry's new AN9 rotary position is completely non-contacting. Not only does it use solid state Hall-effect sensing technology, but it also eliminates the mechanical interface between shaft and sensor. The result: greater reliability than ever. Add to that the fact that it can produce redundant outputs, and you can see why we think that nothing else approaches the AN9 for reliability. We've even optimized the magnetic circuit to allow for variation in airgap and alignment. Outputs can be programmed to match specific applications, and with IP68 water resistance and rotational ranges up to 360 degrees, we think you'll find it's suitable for an extraordinary range of applications.
