IRC Pwr Res. Get 600W Rating for Use in P/S

Austin, TX (February 26, 2008) --Providing design engineers with an
extended range of high-power resistive devices in industry standard
TO-126, TO-220, TO-227, and TO-247 transistor outline packages, TT
electronics IRC's family of power resistors is designed to suit a
variety of applications requiring high stability and low inductance.
Designated the MHP Series, the resistors feature power ratings from
10 watts to 600 watts. The small size, high power dissipation, high
stability and low inductance values make the resistors
ideal for compact power supplies and motor drives.

The MHP Series resistors feature a resistance range of 0.01W to 51KW,
inductance value of <50nH and a voltage rating of 700V, along with a
dielectric withstanding voltage of 2000V. Absolute tolerances are to
±1% and ±5, with absolute TCRs to ±50ppm/°C. Operating temperature
range is -55C to +155°C. IRC will also produce devices outside these specifications to meet customer requirements. The MHP Series power
resistors are available with RoHS-compliant terminations.

Lead time for the MHP Series power resistors is from stock to 9 weeks.
